The CW has just become the 5th major broadcast network to stream live on Hulu.

Today, the streaming giant announced details of a new agreement with The CW Network, involving a joint venture between CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment, for The CW to join Hulu’s recently-launched live TV streaming service.

In the coming months, subscribers of the Hulu with Live TV (beta) plan will be able to enjoy live broadcasts of their favorite primetime CW series, as well as local station programming.

The addition of The CW Network will bring all of the five US major broadcast networks to Hulu’s live TV streaming service.

“The CW has long attracted younger audiences to live TV, so we are very happy to offer the network through Hulu’s new live service,” said Tim Connolly, Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Distribution.

“The CW is excited to be a part of Hulu’s groundbreaking new live TV service,” said Chris Brooks, Executive Vice President, Network Distribution, The CW. “This new partnership furthers our goal of expanding our audience across digital platforms.”

Subscribers to Hulu’s live service will have live access to The CW’s popular programming, including the new fall series Valor and Dynasty; the new hit series Riverdale and the long-running fan favorite Supernatural; popular DC titles Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow and The Flash; and the network’s critically-acclaimed Jane The Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Video on demand episodes of The CW’s current season series will be available to Hulu with Live TV subscribers soon.
