The first official day of Comic Con has come to an end, and with it, our coverage of Freeform’s Stitchers.

The panel began with the first 10 minutes of the upcoming episode, and the audience watched as Kirsten bounced from a stitch, only to find no one around but an unconscious Cameron. After waking him up, the two decide to head back to her place, and hear from the NSA, who tell them to stay in place. This of course leads to some serious Camsten scenes, and the audience in the room loved it.

The panel, which included stars Emma Ishta, Kyle Harris, Ritesh Rajan, Damon Dayoub, and creator, Jeffrey Schechter, then dove into various on set stories. Damon got the biggest laugh of the panel when he told the story of splitting the back of his pants on his first day of shooting, and since they didn’t have any backup pants, he had to shoot in front of hundreds of extras with split pants. Emma and Kyle discussed a time that Kyle put on a Stitching suit and climbed in the tank. To prove it, Emma even showed a picture on her phone.

As they talked about the remainder of the season, Kyle teased that Cameron will start standing up to Maggie a bit, and will start to demand answers before doing any more stitching. Jeff talked about his desire to do a musical episode, but couldn’t because of logistics. He did however, have a whole story written out for a Shadowhunters and Stitchers crossover, and was hoping it could be done.

In the press room, Damon, Ritesh, and Jeff discussed the relationship between Amanda and Camille, and how important it was to everyone on the show to get right. Ritesh discussed how Linus was going to experience more heartbreak, because the death of his father is really taking a toll on him. They all teased the finale as being the mother of all cliffhangers, and that they created a surprise ending without even telling the network.

Emma and Kyle spoke a lot about this week’s upcoming episode and how similar to Inception it was. Kyle advised that fans should rewatch it right away to see how all the pieces fit together. Both were excited for the possibilities of a new season, and were ready to dive into the stories.
