Whether you’re single, loved up, or somewhere in between, Valentine’s day offers every TV aficionado at least one episode per year in which to see their favorite couples in a more romantic setting.

A series of Valentine’s themed episodes have been playing out over just about every Network this week, but none of the offerings come close to what NBC’s Grimm has in store for its fans this Friday.

This week, the gang will head off for a beautiful weekend getaway, partly to celebrate Monroe’s birthday, and partly to celebrate their enduring friendship.

And if you’re thinking ‘birthday weekend’ doesn’t exactly scream romance, don’t worry there are moments to warm the heart of just about every shipper.

Fans who tune in will get to witness the timeless love between Adalind and Monroe, Eve and Nick and of course Nick and Rosalee. Then there’s Monroe and Eve, and let’s not even get started on Hank and Wu.

Wait, what?

That’s right. Friday’s “Blind Love” will see our favorite characters in a whole new light. Better buckle up because this is going to be one weird and wacky ride.

We’ve seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at NBC, and have a collection of tidbits and teasers to share with you below. As always we avoid outright spoilers and reveals that would ruin your experience of the episode, but we urge you to take a little caution anyway. One man’s teaser is another man’s spoiler as the old saying we just made up goes.

Revenge is a Dish Best Served with Cookies

Remember a few weeks ago when we had two Renards to love? Those were good times.

As you may recall, Nick used the hat to impersonate the Captain, and effectively destroy his chance at being Mayor of Portland. To boot, Nick, still in Renard’s form, rubbed a certain Lt. Grossante up the wrong way when he informed him he was never going to become precinct Captain — despite the real Renard’s promise to the contrary.

Sheesh! When will these henchmen types ever understand the concept of a doppelganger?

Grossante promised revenge, and Friday’s episode will see him make good on that promise when he kidnaps Diana during a father/daughter weekend.

Hey, at least someone’s good for their word.

But has Grossante finally bitten off more than he can chew? We guess some promises just weren’t made to be kept.
