Neil Burger Pursues Bonnie And Clyde

Director Neil Burger is a busy man.  Fresh from his Limitless success and tipped to take on the video game adaptation of Sony’s Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, he is now attached to a new movie version of Bonnie and Clyde.

Burger is working with Scriptwriter Sheldon Turner (Up in the Air) who will pen the screenplay from Author Jeff Guinn’s book We Both Go Down Together: The True Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde.

Turner’s screenplay, if it follows Guinn’s work, will be a far darker and grittier ride than the romanticized 1967 Arthur Penn movie, starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway.

More as we have it.

Well, I can’t see Uncharted ever getting written, can you?

And why ever do we need another Bonnie and Clyde?
