We know FOX’s scifi drama Almost Human is almost upon us by the sheer number of promo trailers hitting the web lately.

These two were released by the Network over the weekend.

Entitled “Some Cops are Born,” and “Compassion,” both clips showcase humanity from the perspectives of the show’s main characters, AI intelligence DRN – or Dorian – and his human partner John Kennex.

Almost Human is from JJ Abrams and Fringe’s JH Wyman and charts the investigations of two cops in a futuristic dystopian society where escalating crime rates require that all human police officers be partnered with artificial intelligence ‘robots’ for their own protection.

When police officer John Kennex (Karl Urban) is seriously injured in the line of duty (after he disregards the advice of his AI, and attempts to rescue a fellow officer) his mistrust of all things artificial is at an all time high. When he returns to work, he is assigned a new AI, Dorian (Michael Ealy), who differs from his fellow bots in almost every way. Dorian has the ability to mimic human emotions to such a degree that he seems more human than his own partner.

The show kicks off with a special two night series premiere taking place on Sunday, Nov. 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), and Monday, Nov. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
