Capaldi’s Doctor: Pocket-Watches Are Cool
Goodbye Bowtie, we will miss you more than words can say.
Hello, three quarter-length pea coat (a teeny bit reminiscent of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock?) waistcoat and pocket-watch.
Check out this new behind the scenes image of Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor Who, sent out way by the BBC this morning.
Is this the new Doctor’s permanent costume – or just what he happened to regenerate into this morning? It’s a little early to say, but we can tell you that this image was taken during the filming of the first episodes of the new run.
Although we wouldn’t be surprised to see scuba gear making an appearance, we get the feeling Capaldi’s Doctor will finally settle for something more tastefully memorable.
We just hope he keeps the pocket-watch. Pocket-watches are cool.
Edit: A Recent Tweet from Peter Capaldi on his costume states:
I have had a big say in my costume, I can't give too much away, but all I have to say is… "No regrets, no tears and no anxieties."
