Castle may be returning a week later than expected, but we can all celebrate that return with an extra episode, “Witness For the Prosecution,” in addition to February 15th’s scheduled “Dead Red.”

In Sunday’s outing Rick gets his day in court but soon finds out the experience is not all he thought it might be.

The episode will see Rick taking the stand as the key witness to a murder from five months ago.

But when new information suddenly arises, he and Beckett must race against the clock to prevent a miscarriage of justice, according to the latest from ABC.

We’ve got a slew of new pics from the episode to share in our gallery below which show not only Rick — but Beckett too — taking the stand.

“Witness for the Prosecution” airs Sunday February 14 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) on ABC.

Castle stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, Stana Katic as NYPD Detective Kate Beckett, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle with Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers.

For Season Eight, Toks Olagundoye (The Neighbors) joined the series as Hayley.

Guest starring in “Witness For the Prosecution” are Sunkrish Bala as Vikram Singh, Kristoffer Polaha as Caleb Brown, Clare Grant as Nina O’Keefe, Darlene Vogel as Sadie Beakman.

“Witness for the Prosecution” was written by Terence Paul Winter and directed by Bill Roe.
