CBS Schedule Change in Light of Terrorist Attacks

By on November 16, 2015

In the wake of a series of terrorist bombings and shootings in Paris and Beirut that left hundreds dead and many more injured last week, CBS has decided to switch up Monday’s episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles over their terrorism-related themes.

Supergirl’s “How Does She Do It?,” focusing on Kara’s efforts to thwart a series of bombings in National City, was originally scheduled to air Monday Nov. 16.

In its place tonight is “Livewire,” a Thanksgiving installment featuring Kara’s foster mother, played by guest star Helen Slater.

Similarly NCIS: Los Angeles’ “The Long Goodbye,” centering on a missing persons case, will replace the originally scheduled “Defectors,” which features a story-line on the recruitment of women for ISIS.

CBS’ advisory follows:

The following original episodes of SUPERGIRL and NCIS: LOS ANGELES replace those previously scheduled for Monday, Nov. 16:

 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT  SUPERGIRL “Livewire”

10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT NCIS: LOS ANGELES “The Long Goodbye
