First Details on Tim Kring’s New Drama ‘Touch’

By on September 24, 2011

We reported a while ago that Heroes creator Tim Kring was in negotiations with Fox on a new drama. We’re happy to report that Fox has ordered 13 episodes of Touch, which was written and created by Kring.

Kiefer Sutherland stars as Martin Bohm, a widower and father who is haunted by his inability to make a connection with his mute 11 year old son.  Everything changes however when Bohm discovers that his son possesses the the ability to see things that no one else can and the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events.

Every once in a while, you encounter a piece of material that you just cannot say no to,” Sutherland said of the project. “That, combined with the opportunity to work again with Peter Chernin and the Fox studio and network, makes me thrilled to be a part of this project. I also look forward to working with an extraordinary writer and producer like Tim Kring.

Touch is set to premiere in Spring 2012 on Fox.

OOoh, sounds intriguing. It’ll be weird seeing Kiefer as someone other than Jack Bauer, though! 😀
