Game of Thrones Season Finale to Receive Additional Runtime
Love it or loathe it, we can’t deny that season two of Game of Thrones spent a long time getting its characters into the places they needed to be for the epic Battle of Blackwater on Sunday. With the exception of closure on Daenerys and her missing dragons, the episode played out almost like a finale, with deaths, defeat and desertion peppered liberally throughout. With so much action, one might be forgiven for wondering just what is left in the finale episode ‘Valar Morghulis‘ to hook the audience for a third season. Well, lots apparently. HBO have revealed that the final episode of the season will clock in at 64 minutes, giving fans an additional ten minutes of finale time.
If you haven’t already done so, you can check out a preview for the finale below.
Catch ‘Valar Morghulis’ Sunday June 3 9/8c on HBO.
