The TV series will be directed by Guillaume Lubrano and produced by French house We Prods. and publisher Humanoids. Each episode will adapt stories from the original comic books. The first season, comprising 6 half hour episodes, is set to debut in April, with season two expected to return to screens in November 2012.  Some familiar faces are already on board for the first season including Stargate Atlantis‘ Joe Flanigan and Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s James Marsters. Scott Adkins (The Expendables 2), Michael Jai White (Black Dynamite) and Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner) are also on board.

Joe Flanigan announced his involvement in the project last weekend in London at the Collectormania event.

The series is currently in the process of being shopped at the Mipcom TV Mart which kicked off in Cannes today. It is as yet unknown if the series will air in the US.
