“I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire” 3 Sneak Peeks at Revolution’s Season Finale “The Dark Tower”
Revolution is headed towards an explosive season finale this Monday June 3. But for the world’s sake, let’s hope that’s not a literal one. Last week Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) gained access to the tower, only to discover a dedicated team of former colleagues had taken up residence years previously. Their goal? To ensure that nobody, Rachel included, attempts to turn back on the power – ever! If the tower’s protectors are to be believed, the air could literally ignite all over the world, ending humanity as we know it, if Rachel makes even the slightest error in her calculations. We kind of can’t blame these guys. Look how well things worked out for Rachel and Ben the first time round.
For once Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) is in agreement with the scientists. However Tom’s motivations are more tactical. Just think what Georgia could do with all that power if it were to be restored, especially now that he has Monroe ousted and the Republic is effectively his.
Neville’s turn-coat actions are enough to make Jason’s (JD Pardo) head spin. But can Neville really depend on his son, and does Jason trust that his father’s strong-arm actions in the tower (should he gain access) will guarantee Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Rachel’s safety?
There’s all to play for in the finale … if Rachel doesn’t set the world on fire first.
Catch two sneak peeks from Monday’s finale below. “The Dark Tower” airs Monday 10/9c on NBC.
