ABC’s Mistresses Renewed for Season 2

ABC’s Mistresses has been officially given a green light for a second season.

The summer soap, based on the British series of the same name, experienced a relatively quiet freshman season, but pulled in 3.9 million viewers during its September 9 finale.

Mistresses stars Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Jes Macallan and  Yunjin Kim as flour friends whose lives are touched by scandals and heartaches.

Mistresses is executive-produced by Rina Mimoun (Privileged, Gilmore Girls), K.J. Steinberg (Gossip Girl), Robert Sertner (Revenge, No Ordinary Family) and Douglas Rae (Wuthering Heights, Camelot, Raw, Meadowlands).

The series is from ABC Studios.
