If like me you’ve been frantically racing through your Breaking Bad box set in time to watch the final eight episodes live then word to the wise. Catch up, because the show officially returns on August 11 at 9 pm ET on AMC for its final run.

The remaining episodes will be accompanied by a new companion talk show “Talking Bad” which hopes to emulate The Walking Dead’s companion “Talking Dead” by offering discussion, sneak peeks and interviews with cast and crew.

Breaking Bad cliffhangered spectacularly with its mid-season finale last year, which saw Walt’s (Bryan Cranston) dogged brother in law Hank (Dean Norris) discovering Heisenberg’s true identity.

It doesn’t take a chemistry genius to know what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

Awesome show! How can something so depressing be so fabulous. Hope Talking Bad is as good as Talking Dead, not surprised they are cloning that idea.
