Currently airing Sunday nights at 9pm ET/PT, Drop Dead Diva’s fifth season finale will air Sunday, November 3, at 9pm ET/PT, with a surprise visitor from Jane’s past who puts everything between her and Grayson on the line and potentially changes the course of Jane’s life forever.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television, Drop Dead Diva, which tells the story of a shallow wannabe model who dies in a sudden accident only to find her soul resurfacing in the body of a brilliant, plus-size recently deceased attorney, stars Brooke Elliott, Margaret Cho, Jackson Hurst, April Bowlby, Justin Deeley, Lex Medlin and Kate Levering.

Josh Berman (Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) is creator and executive producer. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Academy Award-winning Chicago, Bonnie & Clyde, Steel Magnolias) of Storyline Entertainment and Robert J. Wilson are executive producers.

The same day Season 6 was announced by someone other than lifetime, lifetime came back with news that it would be the last season. this show is smartly written and always referred to (even by lifetime) as a CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED HIT show. It features story lines of situations and events in the news today. It is a fantastic drama/comedy that should go on. Hopefully if lifetime doesn’t reverse its decision to cancel, some other SMART network will take it and give it a new home. This show is addictive and a must watch. Followers range from 13 to 80 and that means a lot, especially to the over 2M fans. Please save Drop Dead Diva and sign and share a petition circulating on the Return Button For Drop Dead Diva face book fan page.
