Syfy has announced premiere dates for season 2 of 12 Monkeys and a first season of Hunters from The walking Dead’s Gale Ann Hurd.

12 Monkeys returns for a second season comprising 13 episodes on Monday, April 18 at 9PM ET/PT.

Aaron Stanford (James Cole), Amanda Schull (Dr. Cassandra Railly), Kirk Acevedo (Ramse), Emily Hampshire (Jennifer Goines), Barbara Sukowa (Katarina Jones) and Todd Stashwick (Deacon) reprise their roles.

The series follows the journey of Cole, a time traveler sent back in time from a dark, hellish future to prevent it from ever happening. Joining forces in the present with Dr. Railly, Cole must defeat a centuries-old malevolent organization known as the Army of the 12 Monkeys.

Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett (Nikita) are executive producers and showrunners, with Charles Roven (Batman v. Superman, Suicide Squad) and Richard Suckle (Suicide Squad, American Hustle) as executive producers. Atlas Entertainment and Roven produced the original 12 Monkeys film on which the series is based, and starring Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt and Madeline Stowe, .

Hunters meanwhile debuts a 13-episode first season on Monday April 11 at 10 pm ET/PT.

When Baltimore FBI agent Flynn Carroll’s (Nathan Phillips, Wolf Creek) wife goes missing, his search leads him to a highly-classified government organization – the Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU) – who track and fight alien terrorists.

Britne Oldford (American Horror Story) plays Regan, a valuable ETU operative keeping secrets of her own. The gritty sci-fi thriller also stars Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck) as the dangerously unhinged terrorist, McCarthy.

Hunters is from executive producers Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead, The Terminator Trilogy) and Natalie Chaidez (12 Monkeys, Heroes), who will also serve as showrunner, and Emile Levisetti (Royal Pains). The series is inspired by best-selling author Whitley Strieber’s novel, Alien Hunter.
