The Strongest Evidence to Support a Third & Fourth Season of ABC’s Revenge
Word broke this weekend that Revenge has a new showrunner in the form of existing executive producer Sunil Nayar.
Nayar, who previously executive produced on such shows as Body of Proof and CSI: Miami, replaces the departed Mike Kelley, and is said to have inked a two year deal with ABC Studios, according to a recent report from Deadline.
Although Revenge fans are still anxiously awaiting news on the show’s fate, it would seem that Nayar’s deal is a very strong indicator that the show will be renewed for a third and quite possibly a fourth season (if the ratings continue to hold steady), making it a safe bet for syndication in new markets.
With 100 episodes as the traditional threshold for a television series to become viable for syndication, Revenge may be around for quite some time to come.
ABC are set to announce their 2013/2014 Primetime schedule on Tuesday May 14 2013.
