Great news for benders everywhere! Legend of Korra, Nickelodeon’s animated sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender, has officially been picked up for a 26-episode second season, according to EW.

The first season (currently on hiatus after airing the 12-episode Book 1) has yet to air fourteen previously ordered episodes that will comprise Book 2 of the series, for a total of 26 episodes in Season One. This new order is for an additional 26-episode second season that will be divided into Books 3 and 4, which should allow the complete story arc to conclude as planned.

Legend of Korra stars the voices of Janet Varney, J.K. Simmons, P.J. Byrne, David Faustino, and Kiernan Shipka. It is written and produced by Avatar: The Last Airbender creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, and will resume airing on Nickelodeon in 2013.
