Oh dear! It looks like the CW’s Arrow may be about to off a major character.

In a new behind the scenes preview at the episode, executive producer Marc Guggenheim teases that episode 18 “Deathstroke” will feel like a season finale in terms of action and high stakes as Slade (Manu Bennet) makes his move against Oliver (Stephen Amell) by kidnapping his sister Thea (Willa Holland).

“Everything is heightened. All the stakes are huge and Willa Holland will just break your heart in this episode,” said Guggenheim. “Laurel will never be the same after this episode. The Queen family will never be the same after this episode. Team Arrow suffers a very devastating loss as a result of this episode. Big big big things happen and the stage direction in the script says ‘And our show will never be the same … fade out … end of episode.'”

We’ve included the official log-lines from the CW for “Deathstroke” below, along with Mr Guggenheim’s comments via video, and a second sneak peek clip that shows Slade Wilson’s plans in action.

Don’t miss Arrow tonight, Tuesday April 2nd on the CW.
