Murder and Lies: Watch 2 Sneak Peeks From ABC’s Upcoming “Betrayal”

Betrayal comes to ABC, Sundays, from September 29, at 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET this Fall.

Starring Stuart Townsend, Hannah Ware and James Cromwell, the show centers on the brief affair between Ware’s Sarah and Townsend’s Jack. However things quickly become more complicated for the pair when they find themselves at opposite ends of a murder investigation.

Jack, an accomplished attorney, is tasked with defending TJ Thatcher, the son of his boss (Cromwell) on a murder charge, while Sarah’s husband Drew (Chris Johnson), a successful prosecutor with strong political aspirations, takes on his prosecution.

Is Thatcher’s mentally challenged son, T.J. (Henry Thomas) really guilty, or are darker forces conspiring to make him a stooge? What are Thatcher’s crime connections?
