Revolution’s TCA Teasers: Nate Chooses Sides
The cast and crew of NBC’s Revolution were present at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour in Pasadena this weekend, and they weren’t shy about dropping some spoilers on the show’s return in March.
Speaking of the power-hungry Monroe (David Lyons), who fans last saw mobilizing a heavy duty chopper, series producer Eric Kripke said “Giving him power was more about making him an unstoppable force. We start to deliver on the promise of the title. The revolution begins.”
The show’s lengthy hiatus (the mid-season finale aired November 26th) also gave the writers “The ability to take a breath, look at what we’ve done and really analyze it,” according to Kripke. “I think we did a lot of things right. But I felt like we could pick up the pace of the stunning revelations.”
Kripke promised that the show is about to become “More shocking more often.”
In the following teaser trailer (which also serves as a neat recap of events to date) Nate (J.D. Pardo) struggles with his capacity to stomach Monroe’s new-found power, telling his father Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) that the Militia leader is “not fighting, but butchering,” his enemies.
From what we can tell, Nate turns to Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) but will she trust him enough to let him into her group?
Find out when the show returns, March 25 at 10/9c on NBC.
