NBC’s ‘Grimm’ Preview (Debuts October 28th)

By on October 5, 2011

Grimm comes to NBC on October 28th as part of a Halloween-themed weekend. From the creators of Buffy and Angel, the show is described as a police procedural with a twist – the twist being that all those scary fairytale monsters you read about as a kid are very real.

David Giuntoli stars as Nick Burkhardt, a homocide cop whose life is about to get a lot more complicated. Bestowed with a terrible gift to see monsters hiding in plain sight, Nick is a Grimm, specially chosen to keep humanity safe from the supernatural.

Earlier this year NBC ordered two fantasy pilots, Grimm and Precinct 17.  Only one was picked up to series.

If the following preview is anything to go by, it looks like NBC made the right call. Dark, stylish and at times irreverent, this is definitely one to check out.

Grimm premieres October 28th on NBC. Bring your popcorn!

I love it. I have seen a couple of new fall shows and this looks much better than anything I have seen in the other shows. Grimm has a great artistic visual element to it, and the clip had a couple of good comical moments to break up the emotions, or play with them. Can’t wait.
