Loosely translated, Matsya Nyaya means ‘Law of the Jungle’ and in episode 20, Reese finds himself undercover again, this time as part of an armored truck crew. However it isn’t long before his latest case starts to bring to the surface painful memories from his last CIA Mission. We predict a little ‘every man for himself’ issue with this one.

Person of Interest’s ‘Matsya Nyaya’ airs Thursday, April 26 (9:00 – 10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

    Man crush on Jim Caviezel aside, I am very much looking forward to seeing more of Annie Parisse, she is quite nice to look at. The storyline there should be very interesting.

    Apart from all great things as usual on the show that is super fascinating, seeing Cara alive was a lovely surprise, she will give Snow a taste of his own medicine and that would be fun to watch, and possible reunion of Reese and Cara would be another surprise to look forward to, but yet if none of these will happen, still we will have lots of fun watching this fantastic show, not to mention it will be John’s Birthday…
    Can’t wait to see the cool next episode.

    This episode had a lot going on that is for sure. The story of the armoured car heist was a pretty good POI but the real story from the episode was the flashbacks. I haven’t had a chance to give it a second viewing to see what I missed yet, so I’ll tread carefully and hopefully not reveal what a dummy I am .

    To see the Kara Stanton character come back alive was a great surprise. The writers have created strong and compelling female characters in Detective Carter, the recurring Zoe(The Fix) and even a few of the other POIs like Dr. Meg Tillman(Cura Te Ipsum), Andrea Gutierrez(Legacy) and Jordan Hester(Identity Crisis) and finally the mysterious “Root” introduced in “Root Cause”

    Is it possible that Kara is “Root”?

    Let’s talk about what we know;

    This possibility is sticking in my brain for a few reasons. In the flashbacks she(Kara) seemed very aware of the increased use of various electronic surveillance means and even suggests to Reese that they will be replaced by machines. As well, in the flashback when she questioned the injured Chinese man (in Chinese) he specifically mentioned “The Machine” at which point she shot him and told Reese that he was asking for something for the pain.

    It is interesting that the woman giving the details to Kara and Reese prior to their mission in China was none other than the woman that Will Ingram had met with in Green Bank, VA when he was trying to find out about his dad’s work in the episode “Wolf and Cub”. Was the CIA was involved back in 2010 even as Finch and his Partner were developing the machine and negotiating with the NSA ?

    Did Kara escape with the laptop? She may have had it with her. Was the “source code” from Finch’s “machine”? After she escaped from the events in China it is quite possible she has been selling her services as she must have done in “Root Cause”.
