Pilot Details & Cast Photos From NBC’s New Summer Drama “Crossing Lines”

Crossing Lines is a new crime thriller from NBC debuting Sunday June 23rd from  9-11 p.m. ET. (It moves to a regular 10-11 p.m. ET time slot the following week.)  The series, boasting a large ensemble cast including Donald Sutherland, Game of Thrones’ Tom Wlaschiha and William Fichtner, follows the exploits of a team of international crime experts on the trail of a cold blooded serial killer who has the ability to cross European borders with impunity.

We recently spoke to Crossing Lines star William Fichtner as well as executive producers Ed Bernero and Rola Rola Bauer about what’s to come this season ahead, so look out for our interview coming soon. In the meantime, we have episode synopses on the two hour series premiere to share below, along with first look images at the cast.

Episode 1 – “Pilot – Part 1”

A SERIAL KILLER IS ON THE LOOSE—In the series premiere, we find disabled former NYPD detective Carl Hickman (William Fichtner) has become a recluse – that is until he receives a unique offer from his friend Detective Major Louis Daniel (Marc Lavoine). The Major has a tough case searching for an international serial killer who crosses borders undetected leaving a trail of victims in his path. Carl joins a team of unique specialists working for the International Criminal Court (ICC); while trying to juggle his own personal demons and trying to corner the killer before time runs out. Gabriella Pession, Moon Dailly, Richard Flood, Tom Wlaschiha and Donald Sutherland also star.

Episode 2 – “Pilot – Part 2”

AN UNEXPECTED TRAGEDY LEAVES THE FUTURE UNCERTAIN —When a member of the ICC team goes missing, it is presumed to be at the hands of the psychotic serial killer. Meanwhile, Tommy (Richard Flood) follows the trail of the serial killer’s earlier victims and Hickman (William Fichtner) must face his demons in time to find the missing team member. Elsewhere, when Sebastian (Tom Wlaschiha) tracks down the killer the team must race to apprehend him but a sudden tragedy changes the teams’ lives forever. Gabriella Pession, Marc Lavoine, Moon Dailly and Donald Sutherland also star.
