Secret Circle Exec. Richard Hatem Exits Series

By on July 29, 2011

It seems to be the week for shock departures.  First Frank Darabont walks off The Walking Dead and now The Secret Circle‘s executive producer, Richard Hatem has departed the CW’s upcoming supernatural drama.

Hatem, who was with the drama for just two months, was let go for creative differences, according to Deadline.

The show is executive produced by Kevin Williamson who also rewrote the original script by Andrew Miller when he came onboard in February this year.

According to a source, “Kevin has a vision, and they [Hatem and Williamson] just didn’t see eye-to-eye creatively.”

It is not known at this time if Hatem will be replaced as executive producer on Secret Circle.

The series has been picked up for a full season based and will air on the CW on September 15th.
