The Vampire Diaries returns tonight with Heart of Darkness, an episode in which Tyler makes a return to Mystic Falls, but soon suspects that something is going on between Caroline and Klaus. As Rebecca and Matt work to prepare the school’s upcoming 1920s Decade Dance, Elena and Damon plan an uncomfortable trip to Denver together to check up on Jeremy. (Awkward much!)
