If you tuned into Wednesday’s Revenge, then chances you were as blown away by all the shocking events as we were. Described as a game changing episode, Guilt contained more OMG moments than we could count, but here are our top five picks of the night.

Lydia’s Death

Nobody expected Lydia to die in such a dramatic and unexpected fashion, especially when she looked poised for quite the comeback on Wednesday.  She had Conrad on a leash, Victoria on the run and even managed to put Emily in a tailspin.  That the episode opened with the sight and sound of her body crunching onto the top of a taxi cab only made this moment all the more dramatic. I accidentally spilled my glass of wine in fright and spent the entire episode wondering how events would lead to this dramatic exit.

Emily and Daniel Seal the Deal

For a while there I was starting to doubt Emily’s ability to seal the deal where Daniel was concerned. Sexy Jack messed things up last week by turning up for an impromptu dinner and being adorable, and Daniel had that whole missing cell phone/sinister manipulative friend thing going on with Tyler. But this week all was forgiven and when Daniel told Emily “Right now all I’m serious about is taking you to the bedroom” she responded with “What are you waiting for?”

Yes Daniel. What are you waiting for?  We’re five episodes in. Show some skin!

Victoria’s Parting Words to Lydia

These are possibly the mot deliciously soapy words ever written! And just in case you’ve forgotten exactly what they were, I’ve included them below. (Actually, I’m learning them off in the event I should one day have a nemesis worthy of this speech.)

Lydia: “I’m so happy that we’re friends again'”

Victoria:  “Well it certainly appears that way, doesn’t it?  But then again appearances can be deceiving, can’t they? You’ve practically made it an art form. Understand something Lydia. Every time I smile at you across a room or we run into each other at a luncheon or I welcome you into my home let that smile be a reminder of just how much I despise you. And every time I hug you the warmth you feel is my hatred burning through. Goodbye Lydia. My husband is waiting for me.

Nolan In The Apartment of Death

Nolan was caught in quite a compromising situation this week.  But then all that sneaking around and spying on people was bound to catch up with him at some point. Trapped in Lydia’s apartment with handfuls of incriminating evidence, Nolan slowly became aware of Lydia’s dead body and all those swooping police cars. And the look on his face was just priceless!  He certainly touched a lot of surfaces on his way to that rooftop. Let’s hope he doesn’t go down for this one. Keep that video safe Nolan!

Frank Fights Like a Girl

So last week I was crushing on Frank a little bit. He was all in control and decisive and even Victoria was making eyes at him at one point.  The fact that he responded by slapping her cell phone into her hand and ordering her to call her husband made him even more intriguing. But now that I’ve seen Frank’s fighting style up close I’m not so sure this love will be a long time thing.  I’m sorry Frank but you fight like a girl.  There I said it! It’s not that I wanted to see Frank pummeling Lydia, it’s just that he was so inept at even managing to contain her in a room.  I re-watched the fight sequence again and can confirm that for the single punch Franks lands on Lydia, he gets in return a slap in the face, a scratch on the cheek, a knee in a tender spot, a kick in the head, a punch to the chest and a backwards headbutt to the nose.  Either Lydia is some kind of martial arts expert or … well maybe it’s just you Frank.

I think this is the best episode yet, so many twists and turns. I loved Lydia’s dress, not so much Victoria’s.
