The Noose Tightens in 3 New Sneak Peeks at Twisted’s “Danny Interrupted”

By on March 19, 2014
ABC FAMILY/Tony Rivetti)

Danny may want to put his father’s untimely death behind him, but it seems fate is about to deal him another blow when Jack Taylor is arrested for Vikram’s murder in Twisted’s upcoming “Danny Interrupted.”

With Whitney pressurizing Lacey to reveal what she, Danny and Karen know about the night of Mr. Desai’s death, and Lacey leaning on Danny to ensure Jack doesn’t go down for the murder, putting the past behind him is off the agenda for now.

We think it might take more than Danny’s money and a “really great lawyer” to salvage this situation. What do you think?

Meanwhile, Jo and Charlie get comfy together.

There is no direction on this show, none. And if that is what writers see as twisted then boy have they effed up. Too bad, the show had so much promise.

Great, so Jo and Charlie get a fireplace scene with cuddling. We never got to see Lacey cuddling with Archie by contrast. And now Lacey’s off with Whitney, possibly bi-curious (to further separate Dacey) while not involved in the action. Again. Not here for this.

When this show gets the cancelled I plan to invite all my friends over for pizza and pop. It will be a glorious moment. I tried to think optimistically, but everyone has a breaking point. Lacey doesn’t have a story line, her character is either a cheerleader or a support counselor. Why didn’t Danny and her get to address their breakup, his “out of the blue”feelings for job, where the hell her parents are, etc? Her feelings are so non-important he felt comfortable enough to not only not address them, but to push for basically “SAVING JO”from Charlie.Whoever approved this direction should be fired. Lacey and Danny on screen is what people want, and their on screen chemistry is undeniable. Have them get into petty squabbles, but they should be together. ABCF took a show with enormous potentially and turned into trash.

Exactly Penny. This show trashed itself when they devalued Lacey’s contributions to the storyline all to make EVERYTHING about Jo. Plain and simple they lied in their marketing about who this show as exactly going to be about. I thought it was to revolve around Danny Desai but apparently Jo’s wishy-washy irrelevant by comparison to everyone else’s teen angst was the actual direction of the show with Lacey (of course) and now Danny playing second fiddle to Jo’s (fill in the blank). Hate that the show may be cancelled but the writers/producers have no one but themselves to blame if this happens. I feel sorry for the cast of amazing talent who got saddled with a bunch of hacks.

I cannot believe this. What happened to the show I loved so much? Why is everything about Jo? They have ruined Lacey’s character. Danny and Lacey should be together! Of course they have to ruin that too.

I’m just so frustrated. I had such high hopes for this show. I fell in love with the charming Danny Desai. I fell in love with the magic of Lacey and Danny. If the show comes back for another season, I hope they make some serious changes.
