Brandy Norwood returns as Elisa this Sunday

Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva continues its fourth hit season with a talented cast of regulars (including Brooke Elliott, April Bowlby, Margaret Cho, and Jackson Hurst) along with a jam-packed roster of exciting guest stars in upcoming episodes.

Singer Brandy Norwood returns as Elisa Sunday June 24 in episode four, ‘Winning Ugly.’ In Sunday’s episode Elisa is forced to confront Parker (Josh Stamberg) when their son Eric shows up at the firm to meet his father, against Elisa’s wishes. Liza Lapira and Alimi Ballard also guest star.

Quite a few well-known names will be showing up in later episodes of DDD this season. In the ninth episode, The Secret Circle‘s Adam Harrington is slated to play the charming lawyer Paul Hewitt, who represents a grieving stepmother suing for the custody of her stepson’s ashes.

The following week in episode 10, Currie Graham (Raising the Bar, Boston Legal) will play lawyer Simon Grundy, and Sharon Lawrence returns as Deb’s mother Bobbi Dobkins, whose dance studio is sued when a young girl is injured there. Abby Lee Miller (Dance Moms) also guest stars.

Tyler Jacob Moore (Shameless, GCB) will be appearing in an episode to air on August 12, playing a gay man arrested for donating sperm in violation of a 2005 federal law.

Episode 12 (the season’s next-to-last) is a truly star-studded affair, with Cameron Mathison (Castle, Desperate Housewives) playing Jonah Pierce, who has a bad date with Stacy (April Bowlby). Kim Kardashian reprises her role as con artist/relationship guru Nikki LePree, and Nancy Grace will once again playing herself.

In the same episode, Ashley Jones (The Bold & The Beautiful, True Blood) appears as a young mother who miscarried and became sterile after taking a dangerous prescription drug. Dylan Walsh of Unforgettable will portray the lawyer who represents her against the drug’s manufacturer.
