This is the behind the scenes video many Doctor Who fans have been waiting to see. When the series Blu-ray was accidentally leaked to fans in the US last week, the BBC scrambled to contain spoilers on the season finale “The Name of the Doctor.”

Tweeting from the official Doctor Who account, the BBC vowed “Steven Moffat has promised if fans help keep the finale’s secrets, we’ll release a special video featuring Matt & David right after the ep!”

While we can’t say the behind the scenes featurette is as revealing as the events of the season finale on Saturday, it is nonetheless a first glimpse of the two Doctors in costume and together at last.

The 50th anniversary episode, airing November 23 2013, will also star screen legend John Hurt (introduced in Saturday’s “The Name of the Doctor”) as well Jenna-Louise Coleman and Billie Piper.

In the video, David Tennant discusses the unusual set of pressures brought to bear on an actor taking over the iconic role, (89% of which are positive, apparently) while Matt Smith remarks that both Doctors seem to get on quite well, despite some bickering.
