Based on Steven Spielberg’s 2002 blockbuster, Minority Report follows the partnership between Dash (Stark Sands), a former pre-cog haunted by his inability to change the future and dedicated cop Laura (Meagan Good), haunted by events from her own past, as they race to stop the worst crimes before they happen.

In this new exclusive Comic Con video, the cast and crew of the upcoming series (which premieres Monday September 21 on FOX, by the way) discuss what fans can expect from the show.

“She longed for the days of Pre-Crime,” says Stark Sands of his character’s partner Detective Laura Vega (Good). “But as soon as she graduated to the force, they shut it down. That was the end of the movie. But when she recognizes who I am, a partnership forms.”

And it’s a partnership that will alter Vega’s perception of the world in time, according to Good.

“There is this tenderness to her, a softness to her that people don’t ever really see,” she says, says, detailing Vega’s unique and transformative relationship with the childlike Dash.

Somehow, he begins to tap into that. In the beginning, she doesn’t really understand that he is really childlike. He hasn’t really experienced the world at all, so all of this is very new for him. The jokes that she tells, and the way that she handles him, goes a little bit over his head. But you’ll see as time goes on, just him being himself starts to break that hard shell.”
