For Coulson and the team, narrowly avoiding being blown to pieces by the beacon last week may just be the start of their problems.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Friday with “The Real Deal,” (also the show’s 100th episode!) and sets out to explore what happens when there’s a massive explosion next to three time and space-bending monoliths.
As we said, problems just starting.
As Fitz works to assess damage to the now sealed-off basement, he realizes that the vast complex that has recently become their base of operations is not behaving quite as it should. Take the immense forest, complete with trees and sky, 150 feet below ground on level 27. Or the potentially Earth-shattering additional dimension bleeding into our own from the basement. Hey, it looks like Daisy is finally off the hook for that one!
While the guys try to wrap their heads around how close exactly they all may be to the end of the world as we know it, and stay one step ahead of General Hale and her strange daughter, Coulson finally decides to come clean about that mysterious deal he made with Ghost Rider.
Catch a first look at Friday’s 100th episode below.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Friday, March 9 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EST), on ABC.
