AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. “Principa” Clip: Meet Candyman

The clock is ticking in Friday’s next Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode, as Coulson and the team go in search of Gravitonium with which to save the world.

Last week’s emotional “The Real Deal” also marked the show’s 100th reveal-filled episode. We discovered that Coulson is dying as a result of his deal with Ghost Rider, that Deke is actually Fitzsimmon’s grandson, and Daisy is not responsible for the end of the world … maybe. However, with a rift in the basement that is leaking energy from a dimension that causes our deepest fears to become manifest, the jury is still out on whether Daisy’s worst fear (becoming the Destroyer of Worlds) could still happen — but just not in the way we originally imagined.

By the episode’s end, the rift was partially sealed, thanks to the actions of Coulson and a brief appearance by Deathlok, aka Mike Peterson — the show’s very first adversary. However, like a band aid on a bullet wound, Fitz was aware their workaround was a temporary fix.

And with the loglines for next week’s episode (spoiler ahead) teasing that “As Fitz and Simmons race to find a way to seal the rift, they are faced with one of their greatest fears manifested,” we know that the rift storyline is set to continue.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie and Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez.

Guest starring are Jeff Ward as Deke, Catherine Dent as General Hale, Dove Cameron as Ruby, Brian Patrick Wade as Carl Creel, Maximilian Osinski as Agent Davis, Spencer Treat Clark as Werner Von Strucker, Shontae Saldana as Candice Lee, Katie Amanda Keane as Deke’s mom, Jake Busey as Tony Caine, Paul Schackman as Dr. Van Kempen and Mark Fite as Getty.

The “Principia” episode airs Friday, March 16 on ABC. Catch an exclusive sneak peek clip below. Candyman?
