AMC Further Expands Portfolio with Sci-Fi Drama ‘Thunderstruck’

In a move which further expands its unique portfolio, AMC (The Walking Dead, Hell on Wheels, Mad Men, Breaking Bad) recently bought scifi drama pilot Thunderstruck from writing/directing partners Paul Boardman and Scott Derrickson and Battlestar Galactica executive producer David Eick.

In what might be another alien invasion style drama, Deadline recently described Thunderstruck as being set against a backdrop of powerful and enigmatic entities which suddenly start appearing all over the world.  In the town of Great Falls, Montana, the local populace struggle to understand the mystery of these visits.
