‘Arrowverse’ Crossover Will Feature Batwoman and Gotham

By on May 19, 2018

Fans of the CW’s ‘Arrowverse,’ which encompasses Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl, are by now accustomed to a yearly crossover event featuring characters from each show getting together to save their cities, each other, and often the world.

From alien invasions to Nazi doppelgangers, the 4 night crossover presents a welcome opportunity to see our favorite DC characters mixing it up in ways that would not be otherwise possible in a weekly episode, as well as facing odds that are often literally out of this world.

But while some fans are still digesting the details of this year’s most ambitious 4 way event, Arrow star Stephen Amell is already spilling the beans on December 2018’s big crossover.

“We will be doing another crossover event this fall on The CW,” Amell shared during the network’s Upfronts event this week. ” We will be introducing a new character. We will be fighting alongside Batwoman.”

The “very specific” crossover will feature “another full-throttled action packed event.” commented CW president Mark Pedowitz.

This fall, Legends of Tomorrow teams up with Arrow on Monday nights, followed by The Flash and Black Lightning on Tuesdays. Meanwhile, Supergirl takes the sole honors in representing the DC universe on Sundays.

Is it too early to nominate Peyton List, who recently took over the role of Poison Ivy in FOX’s Gotham, as Batwoman? (Yes, we know she’s previously been attached to The Flash as Captain Cold’s sister Lisa Snart, but a girl can dream cast, right?)
