Did you know Rich Dotcom has history as an Eco warrior?

Well .. sorta. It seems one of Rich’s previous ‘get Rich more riches’ schemes involved scamming those individuals worried about the effects of their carbon footprint on the environment.

Through a website promising to plant trees, clean oceans, and all manner of other ecologically sound endeavours in their name, the environmentally conscious could feel happier about their big screen TV, and oil guzzling purchases.

Apparently things went well until Rich got bored and moved on. End of story? Unfortunately not. In this week’s episode of Blindspot, Rich discovers his (really really ugly site) is now being misappropriated by terrorists with a dangerous agenda.

We’ve got four new exclusive sneak peek clips to share from tonight’s action “Naughty Monkey Kicks at Tree” including Rich’s guilty confession, below.

Jackson Fernwood? Really? That must have been a lot of bathtub gin, Rich.

Meanwhile in clip 2, things take a chilling turn when Zapata and her sinister colleague Claudia give Reade one last chance to give up his FBI password. As you may remember, the pair waylaid Edgar at the end of last week’s episode, and we watched as any clue that Zapata might secretly still be one of the good guys slowly melted away.

As they argue in the sneak peek clip below, Zapata unleashes a litany of errors for which he holds Reade personally accountable. We’re really hoping this will turn out to be some sort of ruse or fake out that will be revealed in tonight’s episode, because if it’s not .. Reade may want to reconsider withholding that information after all.

To make things worse, Reade’s absence from work is explained away as a sick day, or “catching up on Netflix,” as Rich unkindly suggests, thanks to an email sent by Zapata. Ouch!

And finally, as the team works to decipher another tattoo, Paterson tells Weller she’s found an experimental stem cell therapy for Jane, and Weller asks Patterson for a special favor: investigate Jane’s secret contact, Violett.

The “Naughty Monkey Kicks at Tree” episode of Blindspot airs Friday, Nov. 9 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) on NBC.
