A family that takes lie detector tests together stays together?

OK, we’re not quite sure where we’re going with that one either, but it looks like Jane’s daughter Avery is about to undergo the FBI’s same unique lie detector test that her mother and uncle took previously in this new sneak peek clip from Friday’s Blindspot episode.

While Kurt is worried that the test will reveal the team’s lack of trust in the teen, it’s Jane who suggests they push ahead regardless.

“Do it,” says Jane, “We don’t know Avery, or what she’s capable of.”

Despite her words, it’s obvious the decision is not resting easily with her. Kurt notices too, and offers a shoulder to cry on, if she ever wants to talk. However, Jane’s upset is still very much in evidence.

“I can’t just go back to trusting you, and forget how you lied to me,” she tells Kurt. “I wish I could.”

Not even to make us Jeller fans happy, Jane? No?

Ok then.

The episode is called “Two Legendary Chums” and it airs Friday, February 2 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) on NBC.
