BONES Exclusive: Brennan Surprises Everyone in

An unusual case involving a robot polarizes opinion in the Jeffersonian this week as Brennan and Booth investigate the death of Ian Goldberg, head of Social Cybernetics, a tech firm on the cusp of providing companions for profoundly autistic children.

With such a noble calling, and a bright future ahead, the team question why someone would want to murder the company's boss. And if not some one, could the murderer be AMI, the company's empathetic AI at the center of their groundbreaking development?

As the investigation unfolds, the mystery brings out varied thoughts and feelings on the future of artificial intelligence among the team.

Meanwhile, as Brennan's 40th birthday looms, she decides to shake things up with some secret plans of her own.

We've seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at FOX, and have a collection of teasers to share with you. As always, our report steers clear of outright spoilers, plot reveals and any major character moments that might ruin your enjoyment of the live experience. We do suggest proceeding with caution though, as we're keenly aware that one person's teaser is another's spoiler and all that. Besides, who are these ScreenSpy people anyway?

Mystery Caller

Angela will find herself plagued by a mystery caller this week who refuses to leave a caller ID, or even a message.

Who could it be? A bogus cruise offer? A marketing questionnaire? Or a bolt from the blue that leaves Angela speechless and Brennan feeling more than a little jealous?

If you choose answer c then you’re only half right. Watch till the end credits. Now dab those tears.
