CBS is the latest Broadcaster to set premiere dates for new and returning shows in a Covid19-blighted Fall TV landscape.

“This is hardly a traditional fall season,” commented CBS Entertainment chief Kelly Kahl in a statement earlier. “But we are prepared with a strong slate of original content while our regular scripted series begin production. Based on our current timeline we hope to start rolling out our previously announced fall series as they become available in November.”

September and October 2020 fare includes re-runs of season one of CBS All Access hit Star Trek: Discovery, in addition to Season 4 of Netflix and Pop’s One Day at a Time, and Manhunt: Deadly Games, which originally launched on Spectrum’s On Demand platform in February 2020.

The lineup is expected to tide fans of such CBS stalwarts as the NCIS franchise, the FBI franchise and other favovrites until their expected returns later this year.
