The Campers Arrive, But the Strange Goings On Continue on Freeform’s DEAD OF SUMMER

By on June 15, 2016

The beleaguered counsellors at Camp Stillwater are back for more bump-in-the-night action in episode 2 of Freeform’s silly summer supernatural drama Dead of Summer on July 15 — except this time, it’s a camper who finds himself at the center of the strange goings on.

“Barney Rubble Eyes” will see a the campers finally arriving at Camp Stillwater (hey, all that bonding and pot smoking and skinny dipping in the evil lake of dead bodies had to come to an end some time, right?).

However, Alex and Blotter realize one of their new charges, Anton, is going to be a handful. With the tendency to wander off into the woods talking to himself, Alex and Blotter think the shy kid just has an imaginary friend.

But when Anton starts talking about “the Tall Man” and communicating cryptic messages to them, they begin to wonder what lurks in the woods around Stillwater. Finally.

Meanwhile, flashbacks show how Alex got his “if you want something in life, you have to take it” attitude.

The “Barney Rubble Eyes” episode of Dead of Summer airs Tuesday July 15 (9:00 – 10:00 p.m. EDT), on Freeform, but if you can’t wait that long, catch first look photos from the instalment in our gallery below.
