Style Steal: Mossimo Floppy Hat

When it comes to style it’s not always important to break the bank with new pieces. This rule is especially true when it comes to trendy pieces that may not be around next season or in years to come. For example, the trendy but need-not-be-expensive floppy hat.

The floppy hat is kind of a style staple and doesn’t necessarily fit the aforementioned rule. I’m not one to just leap in and try an expensive one which I may only wear once or twice. Personally, I would definitely ease into it with baby steps which is why this budget friendly piece has currently fallen onto my radar.

Hats are more acceptable these days and more about style combined with function rather than solely function alone, so I’ve created three different looks.

As it’s currently getting warmer, I’ve created two warm weather looks and one colder weather inspired look all featuring the wonderful floppy hat from Target.

First up, a more casual look. I would probably wear this out to the supermarket, running errands, or some light outdoor activity (most likely heading to the pool etc). I’m still really obsessed with these Stan Smith x Adidas sneakers if anyone was wondering and wanted to send some to my closet…

Next up is a look at that’s a bit fancier but can still be used in casual settings such as lunch or a little warm, outside adventure.

Lastly, the colder weather look. This is a bit daring with the knee high boots but when in Rome I suppose. Gotta try new things sometimes…
