The time team takes on the bustling streets of New York city circa 1919 when NBC's Timeless returns with a new episode on Sunday.

This week the team acquaint themselves with famous suffragette Alice Paul (guest star Erica Dasher) who, finds herself framed for a murder the history books never recorded.

Knowing Rittenhouse is yet again tampering with the timeline, the gang teams up with Female Benedict Cumberbatch legendary female crime solver Grace Humiston (guest star Sarah Sokolovic) – AKA “Mrs. Sherlock Holmes” to clear Alice's name.

However, time is running short, as the team must have Alice back on the street again just in time for her to give a powerful speech that turns the tide in the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote.

We've seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at NBC and have a short collection of teasers to share with you below. As always, we never divulge major plot point or character reveals that would spoil an episode before the live event. That said, one girl's gentle teaser is another's heart stopping spoiler, so we suggest proceeding with a degree of caution matching your feelings on the issue.

Please be aware that ScreenSpy follows the US airing schedule for this show. As such, some recapping of previous episode events can be expected in this report.

All the Ugly Feelings

Speaking of squabbling, Rufus and Jiya aren’t the only ones going at it this week.

Lyatt fans, prepare to get flustered and maybe even choose a side as Lucy and Wyatt finally have it out … and then Wyatt and Flynn also have it out.

Honestly, that fourth seat in the lifeboat is nothing but trouble this week.

And yes, we know what you’re wondering. Flynn is still tied with Rufus for the ‘all the best lines’ award.
