5 Things to Know About BONES

Bones returns on Thursday with a new episode that promises to pick up the pieces of May 14th’s shocker, which ultimately saw Brennan kicking Booth to the curb following revelations about his gambling relapse.

Thursday’s new episode “The Woman in the Whirlpool” will see both Brennan and Booth struggling with their new arrangement, both personally and professionally, while the team wonders if they’re headed for divorce.

Meanwhile, duty calls as the body of a well-known cookie jar collector is found in the Potomac river, prompting the team to investigate the victim’s collector community in order to catch the murderer.

And for once Aubrey bites off more than he can chew when he begins a flirtation with one of the Squints.

We’ve seen this episode a little earlier than most, thanks to our friends at FOX, and have 5 new teasers to share with you.

As usual, no major spoilers! We want you to enjoy this episode as much as we did.

Here then are 5 things to know about “The woman in the Whirlpool.”

Sharing is Caring

We’re heartened to see the show treat the subject of addiction with all the gravity it deserves. Therefore it will probably come as no surprise to fans to see Brennan and Booth still living apart, following the events of the previous episode in which Brennan and Christine’s safety was threatened by Booth’s shady gambling associates.

“The Woman in the Whirlpool” shows Brennan taking a firm stance while Booth also diligently toes the line, attending addiction counseling and keeping away from the triggers that could cause a relapse.

It all seems to be going well, with the exception that there’s one thing Booth just can’t bring himself to do – namely share his addiction experience with others. (Somehow we doubt the strong silent approach will work with this particular problem.)

However, until Booth learns to open up about his mistakes, there’s no chance of a reconciliation with Brennan.
