Lucy Liu makes her directorial TV debut in CBS Elementary’s “Paint it Black” on May 1.

The episode sees Rhys Ifans continuing his guest role as Mycroft Holmes when he and Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) are forced to partner up in order to solve a case with life or death consequences.

How will the estranges brothers handle a case together? We’re guessing Sherlock will have some difficulty putting aside his issues with his estranged brother in order to get the job done.

“Paint it Black” was written by Robert Hewitt Wolfe, and directed by Lucy Liu.
