Person of Interest Wins ‘Best New Drama’ in People’s Choice Awards

CBS cop drama, Person of Interest, starring Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Taraji Henson and Kevin Chapman won the award for Best New Drama in the 38th People’s Choice Awards last night in the Nokia theater in LA.

The show beat out a slew of other new dramas including Once Upon a Time, Grimm, Revenge, The Secret Circle, Terra Nova, Prime Suspect, Ringer, Hart of Dixie, A Gifted Man and Unforgettable.

Angus T. Jones and Pauley Perrette accepted the trophy on behalf of the cast, currently filming on location in New York.

Person of Interest returns tonight on CBS with the first episode of the new year entitled ‘Super’ and which will see Reese and Finch swap roles as they try to track a dangerous stalker.
