Have you ever seen anything so full of splendor?

Westworld, HBO’s Emmy-winning, futuristic, A.I. thriller has been officially renewed for a third season.

The news came today from Casey Bloys, president, HBO Programming, who remarked of the renewal “It’s been an extraordinary pleasure to work with the exceptionally talented Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, as well as their gifted cast and crew. From the inspired storytelling to the incredible visuals, we are so excited to see where the next chapter will take us.”

Westworld only recently debuted its second season premiere on April 22, adding ten new episodes to the mythology, and picking up on the events of last season in which Dolores gained full awareness, and began her crusade to end her fellow hosts’ suffering, and even bring the fight to the outside world.

While last season teased what might lie at the center of the Maze (the answer was consciousness), this season promises that new answers can be found behind the door — for those willing to play the game.

Westworld was created for television by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, who are also executive producers. The show debuted on HBO in Oct. 2016 to become the network’s most-watched freshman series ever.

J.J. Abrams, Richard J. Lewis, Roberto Patino, Athena Wickham and Ben Stephenson also produce.

Westworld is based on the 1973 film written by Michael Crichton.
