Last week’s episode of NBC’s Blindspot may have brought the funny, thanks to the biased recollections of a young career criminal, but it closed out on a somber note nonetheless when Jane (Jaimie Alexander) answered her door to find a jittery and rambling Roman (Luke Mitchell) waiting outside to whisk her away to her next Sandstorm assignment.
Yep folks, it looks like this could be the big one — the imminent Sandstorm attack that Nas (Archie Panjabi) warned the FBI about, and the threat that brought Jane back to work for the FBI.
According to the latest from NBC, the episode will see Jane risking all to send a secret SOS to Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and the team. We’ve also heard that this is the episode in which the FBI mole is finally uncovered. We’ve also also heard that this is the final episode of the year (don’t worry the show will be back in the new year with the remainder of the season) so there’s every reason to tune in on Wednesday.
In the following exclusive sneak peek clip Jane and Roman take a moment to keep up a sibling tradition – trading the coin they swapped and presented to each other over the years. On this occasion, Roman adds a special and touching addition.
Can we really believe Jane will betray her brother, or will she look for some way to save him from Shepherd? And if she does, will her hesitation cost her the most important mission of her life? Will any of that even matter if the mole has tipped off Shepherd to Jane’s double-cross?
Argh! It’s all too much to think about. We’re going to go rewatch this moment of calm before the storm again.
The “Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform” mid-season finale of Blindspot airs Wednesday, November 16 at 8:00 pm on NBC.
