Gale Harold (Defiance, Queer as Folk) has booked a role in a new dystopian scifi action movie from writer/director Franceso Cinquemani.
Titled Andròn – The Black Labyrinth the film explores what happens to a group of prisoners who find themselves trapped in a mysterious and deadly maze, according to the official description.
They don’t remember how they got there. They don’t even remember their names. They will have to find answers, to decipher the signs, understand the codes and they have to face a dangerous journey to discover the secret of Andròn.
Forced to form bonds in order to survive, the group struggles to find a way out while the outside world watches and places wagers on their fates.
Harold is joined by Alec Baldwin, Michelle Ryan, Leo Howard, Skin, Antonia Campbell Hughes, Jon Kortajarena, Mauro Conte, Korlan Madi, Alex Martin, Gaia Scodellaro, Elettra Mallaby, Clara Pasieka and Danny Glover.
“We’re very excited to add this film to our production slate and eager to get to work on a film we believe has great breakout potential,” said AMBI Pictures’ Andrea Iervolino in a statement earlier.
With Principal photography kicking off in Malta this month, Andròn is slated for release in 2015.
