GAME OF THRONES Season 6 Trailer: Voices … and Faces From the Past

This creepy new Game of Thrones teaser trailer serves as a not so gentle reminder that just about every character we’ve come to care about on the show is destined to die.
Watch as some of the show’s most iconic characters (we’ll be honest, there are a lot of Starks in there), represented as masks in the Hall of Faces, deliver some of their most famous lines.
“The Man who passes a sentence should swing the sword,” intones Ned Stark, while Joffrey’s “Everyone is mine to torment” takes a decidedly less balanced view.
Notably absent is Arya Stark who lost her sight in last season’s finale, following a serious breach of the rules in the House of Black and White. The recent batch of photos sent our way from HBO confirms we’ll see Arya again, in rather humble circumstances.
Additionally, the presence of Jon Snow in this rogues and heroes gallery seems to have split the fandom as to whether his inclusion spells hope or doom for his character’s return.
Game of Thrones officially returns for a sixth season, consisting of 10 new episodes, on Sunday, April 24 (9:00-10:00 p.m.) on HBO.
Based on the popular book series A Song of Ice and Fire, by George R.R. Martin, the series chronicles an epic struggle for power in the vast and violent continent of Westeros, where summers and winters can last years.
Among the returning members of the ensemble cast are Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Alfie Allen, Diana Rigg, Natalie Dormer, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, John Bradley, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Conleth Hill, Jonathan Pryce and Gwendoline Christie.
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss created the series and serve as executive producers.
Don’t forget you can catch up on all previous seasons of Game of Thrones on HBO NOW and HBO GO.
