With only a handful of episodes left to go before the grand series finale, Grimm seems to be taking its time arriving at a final destination as far as the show’s recent mythology (stick, cloth, runes, big bad) goes.
This Friday’s “Tree People” will do little to alleviate the intense curiosity and speculation of long time fans of the series. The episode, an ecological cautionary tale, stands alone, with the exception of one or two scenes that nudge the overall plot towards an as yet hazy finish line.
We’ve seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at NBC, and have a collection of tidbits and spoilers to share with you below.
As always, while we purposely avoid plot point reveals and other spoilers that would ruin your enjoyment of the episode, we suggest you tread carefully nonetheless.
A Close Shave
This week, Monroe is the first to suggest a buddy system for anyone who might want to spend any time looking into a mirror. (Basically no one is entering a bathroom alone for the foreseeable future!)
The setup makes for a lighthearted moment for Nick and Adalind to take to the bathroom for their morning ritual only to discover that shaving while expecting a demonic presence to reach through the bathroom mirror and grab you is probably just not worth the effort.
Manly stubble it is!
